Precision Chains Limited have been manufacturers of escalator chains for more than 40 years, supplying chains for use on some of the longest escalators in the world.   Having been a supplier to The London Underground for over 30 years, along with other customers such as Montreal Underground, Montgomery Kone, Otis and California’s Bay Area Rapid Transport system, we are recognized as a premier supplier for their high specification chains.

Our vast engineering experience has through the years enabled to offer first class engineering support to escalator engineers to advise on chain improvement and the design and development of new chains.

Recognising reduction of escalator maintenance cost is a major objective, we have assisted users in this field. It is now generally accepted that the use of polymer components is playing a major in achieving this objective, along with the use of other surface coatings such as chromizing.  We are always happy offer our knowledge and services in this area.
